"Tai, enough," Kadaj suddenly broke in, his eyes narrowed as he looked at the little boy.
"Ariel has come to you for help. She could choose to not trust you for all the times you have betrayed that trust, and yet she continues to give you the benefit of the doubt. I know you love Sora, and I know you care about him. Why, then, are you treating his loved ones with such discourtesy? I know he has been neglectful to you, and for that he is wrong, but that does not give you the right to do so to him, when he needs you. Remember, Sora trusts much less easily than Ariel does, and after some of what you have done, he needs convincing to let you back into his life. So why are you not jumping at this chance to convince him?"

Because I didn't ask to be cut from his life in the first place! Tai snaps at him and growls, keeping his head low. Soon his turns to Ariel with a dark look in his eyes. Maybe I'd rather just help Ansem get rid of you! With that, he runs through his own portal, soon letting it disappear.

"Tai!!" Kadaj called, his eyes wide.
Ariel's eyes likewise widened, and she whirled to face Kadaj. "We need to get to Sora now!"
Kadaj turned to face her, and then hurried over to Tiana and kissed her forehead.
"Be careful, please," he whispered before turning and looking at Ariel. The red-head nodded, and then the two stepped into the portal.
Not too soon after the two left, Jessica walked into the hallway, and blinked.
"...everything alright?"

Tiana nods to Kadaj and watches him go. She quickly spins around to Jessica as she adjusts the twins in her arms. O-oh well...just the normal things... Sora's been a clone for who knows how long now.. Tai might be contemplating joining back up with Ansem, Kadaj and Ariel just went to go stop Tai AND bring Sora back, that Vanitas character appeared out of nowhere for 2 seconds for reasons unknown then disappeared, and now I'm here taking care of 3 babies..! ><
Mason giggles and waves his arms around. CWAZY!!

And then Kadaj and Ariel stepped out...wherever the portal would have led them. ._.

Jessica blinked...and looked at the portal with obvious apprehension in her eyes.
Ariel...sweetie...be careful.
And in that moment, she wanted to turn into her wolf form and bound after her sister. She wanted to protect her.
Because she had this feeling of dread pooling in her stomach, and she didn't like it one bit.
But I can't leave Tiana here alone with the babies...what if that Vanitas comes back?
So she turned to face Tiana, and allowed herself to smile.
"Do you want me to take one of them from you?" she chuckled, and held out her arms.

Jessica smiled, and took Mason in her arms. She fondly reached out a finger to tickle his belly before looking up at Tiana.
"Should we go wait in the living room for them?"
Aiden just giggled up at Tiana happily.

Tiana smiles at Aiden and rubs his head as she nods, heading towards the Living Room.
Evey crawls in, trying to stand though she wabbles and falls down.

Aiden cooed at Tiana, and gave another small giggle.
Jessica smiled down at Mason and tickled one of his feet as she followed Tiana. Her eyes went to Evey, though, and a soft laugh escaped her.
"I see she's eager to be mobile."

Tiana tilts her head to Jessica before giving a small and sympathetic smile. Honestly, I feel like we don't grow out of that stage...ever. We just...learn to control it a bit better.
