Ariel also squeezed her eyes shut, though this was because she was waiting, hoping for a reply from Tai.
For a moment, she just stood there, trembling slightly. But when she received no reply, her shoulders slumped, and more tears slipped down her face.
"I'm sorry for keeping him from you," she whispered through the door before turning to walk down the hall.

Tai opens his mouth to finally speak but is interrupted instead, by a familiar voice.
Oh, don't worry... Vanitas soon appears in front of Ariel with a large grin plastered on his face. I forgive you.

Ariel gasped and took an instinctive step back when she saw Vanitas, her grip on both the boys tightening as she did so. But then her eyes narrowed, and she re-took that step forward.
"Where's Sora?" she demanded.

Vanitas clicks his tongue and shakes his head. What's with all you guys bein' so rude. Haven't seen me for at least a year and no "great a see ya??" Just awful... Why do I even bother? He lifts a hand to the air as he gives a shrug before quickly disappearing into a portal.

Ariel's eyes widen slightly at how suddenly he disappears, but before she can comment, Kadaj comes scurrying down the hallway.
"Icantracethatteleportationspell!!"
And then he did, a blue glow emitting from his hands and then growing into a portal. A triumphant smile was on his face, and he looked over at the surprised Ariel.
"Hopefully, this leads to Sora."

A huge smile broke out onto Ariel's face, and she gave Kadaj a grateful nod. She looked like she was about to step into the portal, but then she looked at the twins in her arms, and then peered around Kadaj and the portal.
"Tiana?" she called hesitantly.

Feeling as though his cover was blown, Tai creeps mainly back behind the corner, though an eye and most of his hair is seen peering to look at Ariel. What...?
