Marina pulled the covers over her face, not wanting the vampire she oh-so admired to know how she really felt, "Then you'll know I just want to be left alone." a tear fell and she quickly wiped it away.

Proteus hurried into Marina's room, placing her on the bed gently. He then ran to a bag of his and pulled out a small, blue vile that glowed. He gave it to marina to drink.
Marina felt what seemed to be, a sweet flavor. She drank it and thought it was like liquid gold. She opened her eyes slowly.
Proteus sighed in relief.
