'Wait a minute ..' Sera thought and stopped, 'that smell ..' she whispered as she sniffed the air, not only was it the same smell from the room where her pet was supposed to be, but it also reminded her of something from her past. She turned around, curious as to who that scent belonged to and peered back into the kitchen.

'I'm .. good ..' she said slowly, staring at him as she walked back into the room. It had been some time since she last saw Flynn and she started to wonder if he was sore about her leaving him so suddenly, 'so, you're my new pet .. you know it's taken me forever to find you after you disappeared from your room. Where did you go anyway?' she asked as she sat up on the counter opposite him.

"Exploring"Flynn said taking any bite of the apple. She looked so familar but he couldn't put it. Then he put the pieces together. She brought him here. "You brought me here? Why?" He also yelled.

'Calm down or you'll end up getting burnt,' Sera glared at him as she flicked her fingers again, making a small flame appear, 'now, I brought you here because .. well you were convenient,' she looked away and whispered to herself, 'I just had to bring him here .. man, how out of it was I when I went looking for a pet ..'

'Well, I kind of just grabbed the first human I could find, I didn't even realise it was you until a moment ago,' she said and glanced back at him, 'you don't remember me? .. well I guess it has been a while,' she jumped off the counter and stood beside him, 'I'm Seraphina Tanith, though you probably know me better as Sera.'

'Yeah about that, things were just getting ..' she sighed, unsure of how to say it so she just shook her head and decided to start again.
'I'm sorry I left, I just had to get back to my family. I've lived here with them for decades and I felt bad about leaving them, I couldn't be away from my home any longer,' she lied, she knew the real reason why she had left but he didn't have to.

'Oh great,' Sera whispered and rolled her eyes. She walked over and sat beside his body. 'I better stay here with you, if any of the others see you passed out, alone, in the kitchen they might just think you're a snack ..' Sera glanced at his neck, 'a snack, huh ..' she shook her head and stood up quickly, walking over to the fridge and grabbing a blood pack. She emptied the contents into a glass and sat back down beside Flynn. She sighed again, 'this is going to be a long night,' she thought as she took a sip from her glass.
