Then, the vows came.
The Priest nodded to Proteus and faced Ana, "Anastasia," he began saying sweetly, "There are no words to describe how much I love you. How much I need you. You give me life - a reason to wake up in the morning. Seeing your smile is like seeing Heaven on Earth. You make the world fun - make me want to celebrate. As I've told you, you taught me to look at the stars and to dream. To appreciate the small things. For this, I can't thank you enough. And all day everyday, I will support you and love you with all of my heart and soul. I will help you in your every need and I will protect you with my life. For as long as you are living, so will I - with you." he smiled charmingly.

Jim: *whispers back* I know but I don't wanna bawl like a baby watching my little sister get married.
Ana: *blinks back her tears smiling at him* Proteus, I was so broken when you met me, shattered from all the horrible events in my life. *smiles* but being with you just seemed to make them all fade away into a distant memory. when I'm with you the world doesn't seem half as bad as it really is, you make me feel so special and important and on top of the world I just forget everything bad that ever happened. I couldn't be happier to have anyone else standing in front of me, being the one who stopped to pick up the broken glass and put it back together again, I love you Proteus.
(god that actually made me tear the fuck up.)

"Proteus, do you understand and accept this responsibility, and do you promise to do your very best each day to create a loving, healthy, and happy marriage?" Proteus beamed, "I do."
