Vivvy sat while the church looked amazing with flowers and candles lightened everywhere. A short, fat smiling priest waited at the end of the room and Proteus smiled brightly at her.  |

Music played softly and Proteus grinned and held her hand when she came up to him, "You look beautiful." he smiled.
The Priest smiled with big red cheeks, "To begin, please share the words you wish to express to your loved one."
Proteus beamed, "Anastasia. From the moment we met, I cared deeply for you - more than anything. You taught me to dream and care for those who've been hurt and let them trust me. I've gained patience. And felt love like non-other. You taught me to look at the stars and admire the little things. I'm so happy I get to hold and call a star my own," he smiled charmingly, holding her hand.
The priest looked to Ana smiling.

Ana: *smiles brightly at him tearing up, blinking her tears away* Proteus, when we met, I was hesitant, because I was trying to keep my walls up so I wouldnt get hurt. *smiles* but you, you cared for me so much you wouldn't stop until all those walls came crashing down. I didn't think after all that had happened to me I could ever, feel love again, or have someone ever love me back. but I am so glad that you proved me wrong, I love you more than anything Proteus, and from the second you told me you loved me I knew there was no one else I'd ever want to be with ever again. that I wanted to be yours forever, and thats finally happening, and I couldn't be happier to have anyone else be my husband.

Proteus smiled greatly, beginning to feel his emotions tighten in his throat and wiped her tears away.
The Priest smiled, continuing the ceremony and turned to Proteus, "Proteus, wilt thou have this woman to be thy wedded wife? Wilt thou love her, honor her, keep her and guard her, in sickness and in health? As a husband should a wife, and forsaking all others on account of her, keep thee only onto her, so long as you both shall live?"
"I do." Proteus said smiling with such sureness in his voice without the slightest hint of hesitation.
The Priest nodded smiling and turned to Ana, "Anastasia, wilt thou have this man to be thy wedded husband? Wilt thou love him, honor him, keep him and guard him, in sickness and in health? As a wife should a husband, and forsaking all others on account of him, keep thee only onto him, so long as you both shall live?"

Continuing the wedding were the vows. Proteus took Ana's hands in his own beaming, "I, Proteus, take thee Anastasia to be my wedded wife. To have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse. for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do us part."

The Priest smiled, "Exchange the rings please," he held out the wedding bands. Proteus had tears of joy rimming his eyes as he placed the ring on her finger, "I love you Anastasia."  |
