Rena looks at Axel, "Ah, now I understand, we are alike aren't we?" Rena says, looking at the table. "Would you like to know why I don't wanna go back?" she asks, looking back up at Axel slightly.

Rena closes her eyes as she remembers, "Oh where to start?" she wonders. "Well might as well start from the beginning."

((You'll see  )) Rena waves her hand slightly, and holds it above the table, the water becomes like a mirror and inside can be seen an younger Rena with two boys. "When I was younger, I was always with two boys from my village. Their names were Leon and Dias." Waving her hand, the image in the mirror changes, to a slightly older Rena, "When my powers showed themselves for the first time, our village was raided. My friends and I were surrounded by five of the thugs. Somehow my mind reacted without my consent, and water from the lake nearby washed them away." |

Axel wasn't leaning back in his chair anymore. He watched the images in the mirror, quietly.

"After that, I was captured by the same thugs," Rena says, another image clouding the mirror. It was Rena in a small room, her hands tied. "The thugs had told their leader about me, he had said that by using me, he could have the whole country under his control. It wasn't long after I was caputred, Dias and Leon came to rescue me. Dias got me out but was killed as we were leaving." Rena says, a tear running down her face. "When Leon and I got back to town, Leon didn't want much to do with me, he blamed me for Dias' death. When I tried to talk to him, he would push me away, call me a demon, and leave. But one day, he tried to take my life, in his mind, a life for a life seemed fair. When he tried to kill me, my powers activated again, and water grabbed his arm, pulling him to the ground. 'You're nothing to me anymore.' he said, and after he got free, he left the village."

Axel nodded, his brow furrowed as he watched the scenes play by. Assholes.. He thought.

Rena waves her hand again, keeping her eyes closed, showing an image of her meeting Claude "Shortly after that, I left the village myself. I wanted to put as much distance between myself and that town as I could. Not long after that I met Claude, and he wanted to travel with me. I could sense he had feelings for me, but I just couldn't return them. I think deep in his heart, Claude knew that, he just didn't want to believe it. He said he would help me find somewhere safe, then he'd leave." Waving her hand one last time, "We had just entered another town when we were mobbed. News of the girls with special powers travels fast, and they tried to captured me as well. They almost did, when my powers kicked in and brought me here." she says as the image shows a group of large men surrounding her and Claude. "Claude's already left, he did it before I woke up today. I found a note beside me in the art room. So it's just me and Taffei here now."
