Dear Diary,
Things are great here at the mansion! I've made so many new friends and everyone is so nice! Whoever said vampires were bad was wrong, they're just like us humans except with powers and fangs. I had dinner with Proteus tonight, and we had French food, then he kissed me. It was the first time anyone has kissed me since Jake, in was scared out of my mind, not about the fact that I was kissing a vampire, the fact that someone might want to be with me again.
Dear Diary,
I FINALLY finished my composition today, there are a lot of people in the mansion with musical talent. Jim said everyone with musical talent needs to get together and sing and play whatever instrument they have. I think that would be really cool, see who else can play the piano, maybe I could duet with someone!

He kissed me again, Proteus did. I am starting to wonder if this will go anywhere, he tells me he won't ever let anything hurt me, and that he wouldn't hurt me either. It's going to take some time for me to finally trust someone again, especially since the last person I trusted with my heart shatters it into a million pieces.

There's a ball! And I'm going with Hiccup! He asked me this afternoon in the music room, it was so sweet because he was so nervous, but he was so sweet about it and I'm very happy to be going with him. And I finally asked Proteus what we were, friends, friends with benefits, people who can't make up their minds. And then he told me he wanted to be with me, and I told him I wanted to be with him too, I just needed time to heal and trust someone with my heart, and he said he would wait. I don't know what I'm going to do, I think I have two boys who like me...
