In the corner of the room, sat a lather bound purple book. The book was worn and old, but the pages were in good condition. When you opened up the book you could see a family photo of Melody and her father.

Dear Diary - Entry 1
Today I received you as a gift from my father. He tells me, I must write in you every day as not to forget anything. I am currently 10 years old, and we are living in England. I am not really 10, that is my human age. We're vampires, living with humans. I have no mother that dad has spoke of, so it makes me wonder. Well its time for a party, so I must go. Oh did i forget to say, we are royals! I am a princess, can you believe it?
Dear Diary - Entry 2
Today, Dad and I went hunting for animals. I can go days without blood and just live on human food until I start getting weak. I keep asking daddy about mom, but he won't say much. Just that she looked almost like I do now. Makes me think, was mom human? It would explain the fact why me and daddy are so different. He can't come out during the day light, and I can every so often. Well time for bed, for me. Talk tomorrow or when ever.

Today is my birthday, daddy has bought me a new dress for the party tonight. He is saying I am to be nice and find a nice male to dance with. Apparently, a prince. Dad hasn't said it, but tonight is the night I pick someone to marry. He is trying to hid it, but I am not so sure. Daddy is also worried, and won't tell me why. He just has recently told me about a home to go to if anything was to happen. Well time to get ready, will write after my party.

Tonight was a disaster, I am the Princess of nothing now. Dad got killed by hunters and I am on the run. I did meet a guy but I will leave those details out. I was spared why? I keep asking myself as I ran. I came to the Mansion late that night, crying just wanting it all to be over. Meg took me in, told me I was safe and helped me get cleaned up and into a bed. I could hear her and Dimirti talking, saying they owed my father. What ever that means, well I should be sleeping. I just want to wake up and this all be a dream.

I may not be a full breed vampire but it didn't take long before Meg made me feel like one. I still see that night in my head and get upset. I have met others here, Cale, or as Meg calls him Cupid. He is great for a laugh. He makes me feel wanted, but one thing he sees me as a little sister, not as a love interest. I will make him see one day that I am not a little girl. Oh I found out that I can change my age at any time, isn't that cool. Well I am going to go for now, write when ever.
((Well here you have, the diary that reviles some of the stuff Melody has gone through up till now. It took me all day to write this so I am going to stop now. Leave you all guessing. Hahahaha.))

I've never had the patience to keep writing the same story. Unless it's like a roleplay.
